In response to your e-mail, I am still webmaster at Access Spencer County
and the South Spencer School Corporation.
I have briefly read through the messages and agree that something needs to
be done with the cemetery.
The cemetery is on property owned by the South Spencer County School
Corporation. It is right behind the central office. I have expressed my
opinion to them about maintenance of the cemetery but nothing has been done
other than mowing.
Here is a view of the office. The cemetery is located on a small hill in
the woods behind the blue cars.

Your best bet for action would be to e-mail and call the superintendent,
Mike Robinson, and his assistant, Richard Hedrick.
Also, call the school board members. If the calls come from out of state,
it may be more meaningful.
Finally, have as many people as possible to attend a school board meeting to
raise the issue.
Call the local newspapers to make sure they attend the meeting for coverage.
That type of pressure should cause the board to take action.
Phone numbers and e-mail addresses can be found on the school corporation
web page. Click on School Board and Administration on the left.

I might mention that, due to economic conditions, it will probably take a
combination of school, private, and government contributions to improve the
cemetery.
