I have found Will and Probate records dating back to the early 1830's in
the Spencer County Clerk's office. The Court house burned down September
9, 1833, and a commission was formed to reconstruct documents. There is a
special book in the Clerk's office that has these reconstructed probate
documents (Probate Book 1).
Good Luck

I am attempting to locate both the will and any probate records of

Enumerations. Does anyone know where these records might be
located...either in the County Clerk's Office (or perhaps moved to the
state archives) and where I could write to obtain a copy? Thanks for any
assistance.
