Hi,
I am trying to help a person with her Foerster line. I did visit Rockport yesterday,
the gal who takes care of the birth/death records was not ther, so I was not allowed to
check what I needed, the gal who works in the geaealogy dept at the library was also
gone. The librarian who was there was helpful but told us she didn't know anything
about the gen room. I did get a few things, but need more. Below is what I need:
Anna Foerster--1859-1886-- father was James Forester and mother was Anna M. (don't
know last nams)
She had a son, Charles Henry Greiner in 1882. On his marriage to Anna Zimmerman in
1909, he gave his father as Charles. Charles was raised by his uncle and aunt-- John
and Minnie Foertsch Foerster. Anna (Charles's mother) remarried a G.
Spath/Spayd/Spaeth. Can anyone help me with these lines? Anna and her parents are
buried in St. John's Lutheran Church in Huff Twp. I didn't have much time to
check the cem book, but did find Anna-- her family was listed as Polster. How do
they get Polster from Foerster? Also, are there records that listed the children of
James and Anna, and tells who they married and when? I cannot find where Charles was
born, he died in Eville. Any help on these lines will be much appreciated.
