Janet Crisp transcribed these records some time ago. Here is the
introductory paragraph:
"Sugar Creek Circuit, of the Indiana Conference of the Methodist Protestant
Church, is one of the oldest charges within the conference district. It is
at present composed of four appointments, and four churches, Carrolton,
Fairview, Freeport and Sugar Creek. Formerly there was a class at what was
known as Concord, but from some cause the house was allowed to go to decay
and the few remaining members transferred their membership to the other
churches on the charge.
By W. S. Coons 1910"
Beers' history of Sugar Creek Twp says there was a Methodist Episcopal
church in Boggstown.
