Phyllis, I notice you have Day in your genealogy. My maiden name was Day
from Macon County, Mo. Still haven't unraveled this ancestory. We have it
traced from Mississippi to Washington County, In. James Day and Mary Ann
Brent. Three of his children were alive in the 1880 census. One said he
was born in England; one said Va.; and one said NY. We are very stuck in
1815, when we found him in the War of 1812 in Pike County, Ms.
Know you receive a lot of mail, but I am a descendant of the Hockersmiths
and the Heifners in Shelby, Co.
Also have Brunner or Branner, Cahoun, Fulmer/Volmer, in my genealogy
that were in Indiana at one time. Jane (Day) Wisdom
