News travels slowly to New York, but it has come to me in a round-about way
that the November tornado did damage in the lovely old Van Pelt Cemetery
south of Waldron. They said the lovely grove of old old pine trees at the
entrance was almost completely down, trees down in fence row, the roof off
and damage to the caretaker's house, and some stones damaged although these
apparently are being repaired.
Does anyone have details? (My families' stones are not hurt, I'm told.)
