We are in open dialogue with the state archives and the Indiana Commission
on Public Records - Records Preservation Dept. They are doing what they can
for us. The latest suggestion (ICPR) is to hire a firm from Colorado to
come here and clean the books. I don't think I will take that to the
commissioners!

If money is an issue, perhaps a state library or Indiana archives
facility
has a conservator willing to lend his/her expertise to figure out what it
will take to stop the deterioration and to preserve the records.
