The counties of Indiana including parts of Shelby County and Shelbyville were in the 6th
Congressional District.
Albert G. Porter (R) was U.S. Representative from March 4, 1859-March 3, 1863.
Ebenezer Dumont (R) served as U.S. Representative from March 4, 1863-March 3, 1867.
Good luck in your continued research.
