Delaware County Historical Society's Genealogical Interest Group, the
"Ancestor Hunters" will meet Monday, November 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the
Society's Moore-Youse Home Museum at 122 East Washington Street.
Margaret McClellan, Patriotic Instructor/State Press Correcpondent of
the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-1865, will be the
guest speaker for the evening. Margaret, a 40 year member, will share
information about her organization, what it does, how to become a
member, and how to prove your lineage. Are You a descendant of a
soldier of the Civil War? If so, preserve your Civil War heritage while
honoring your Civil War ancestors by learning how to become a member of
the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War.
The program is free and open to the public. For more information,
