Isn't Alan January still over the archives? I can ask around at the next
Marion Co. meeting who all is involved with restoring things at the
archives.
John,
They didn't seem to be concerned about it. It seems that the person who
came down from the 'state' to examine the books in the first place was not
from the archives. They are looking in to it to see who it was that came to
Shelby County. People at the archives said that they knew nothing about this
situation. They suspect that it was someone from the 'state' (not
associated with the archives)....most likely from the courthouse. They will know
more later and be able to figure out why we were misled about these books.

What did they say about the MOLD? I thought
that was one of the biggest
challenges? I can't believe any state agency wouldn't be terrified of that
issue. I'm not personally concerned about it, understand, but I know the
problems with state officials, liability, and mold.
