Hello Jeanne,
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, this is the one I am seeking.
As mentioned I am especially interested in finding out his unit during WW 2 (most probably
an infantry division, but which one?) and how he looked like. Can you help me finding that
information/picture?
NARA, Google (except for the enlistment record and death notice below), WW2memorial etc.
were without result.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
kind regards,
Antoine

Dear Sir, Madam,
I am from Holland and have an interest in WW 2 history, especially in the Battle of the
Bulge.
I do research about US soldiers that fought for our freedom, and I collect WW 2 artifacts
for display purposes.
I am trying to find out the whereabouts about a WW 2 soldier from Grant County: Howard
(E.) Warman, ASN 15105859. He was born 21 December 1922, and died 18 June 1988 (Grant),
SSN 303-20-0087.
He lived at 215 N. Hamilton St. (Indianapolis) during WW 2 which was, if I am correct, in
Shelby.
I am trying to find to put a face to this name, also I am curious about his unit (like
division/regiment) in WW 2 and how he looked like.
Can you please help me further? Perhaps there has been something published about him
(like an interview with him, or hopefully you can help me finding the obit from him).
Also, I wonder how he looked like/would like to find a picture from him.
Hoping you can help,
thank you in advance,
best regards from Holland,
Antoine
