I'm passing along the post I just received from Judith, who recently
submitted the "Early Settlers" article which has obviously been read by
many people!!
Judith and all,
The beauty of the website and the articles is our ability to make notes
with references about ANY of the material we question or know to be
incorrect. We must post it exactly as written by Brant & Fuller (etc),
but then we can add as many notes/corrections as we please. And with
each note/correction, I can link the source-person. I love it!!
The reason we have such a good site is that people do read the material
and care enough about good genealogy that they are willing to take the
time to post corrections or even questions that may lead to corrections,
clarifications and other references.
Judith (and all contributors), please don't be discouraged because Brant
& Fuller (or any author/compiler) or their typesetters made errors. Our
website will always post articles exactly as written. And Shelbers,
please don't stop correcting and questioning the material you read. I
can always add notes. It is an awesome opportunity to help others far
into the future.

Phyllis, should I make some comment to people's comments about the
history
articles? I didn't make any changes in Brant & Fuller, just typed what
they
said. (Including George Leiss) I still don't know enough about the
people
that I can recognize those kind of mistakes.
I typed a short bio on Microword but am now having problems getting it
to an
attachment. Never fear, I will! Judith
