Thank you Phyllis. One of my goals was to search deeds so it looks like I
can make the trip. I hope to find the property my great grandfather, Isham
Inlow, left to his daughter Margaret. In 1895, Margaret in turn willed it to
her sisters, Mina Luella and my grandmother Nellie.
I have been to the library on previous visits. I did not know about the
Grover Museum. My time is going to be limited. Would you be so kind as to
give a telephone number so I can call well in advance to make an
appointment.
From the looks of the inquiries about the court house, it looks like a lot
of us are going to Shelby Co. this Fall :-)

Come prepared to get all the deeds. The Recorder's Office has
been in
the new annex for some time now and they are functioning beautifully.
The marriage record books are in the Clerk's temporary office in the
annex.
And maybe we will have an accessible home for the other records by then.
The Shelbyville-Shelby Co Library will be open. You can make an
appointment to see the Gene Soc records in Grover Museum.
Did you have some specific goals for the trip?
