Jeanne,
Just check back in a few days and if it doesn't look right on the "results"
page, fill out the forms again.

Interesting survey and I'll look forward to seeing the results.
I did the survey but now I am not sure I should have filled it out the way
I
did. My g,grandparents married in Shelby County in 1838, lived there
for
years, but about 1850 moved over into Indianapolis in Marion County,
presumably to work in the city (possibly on railroad construction) save
their money & move to Iowa. They all (my g.grandparents & his brother &
brother's adult children) moved in a group to Keokuk County, Iowa about
1854. My g.grandparents & family stayed permanently in Iowa, but his
brother & family went back to Shelby County after a few years.
I've been told they went to Iowa with the idea of buying relatively cheap
land that had recently become available and going back to farming. My
g.grandparents were apparently happy in Iowa, but the brother and family
were not satisfied for many reasons & chose to go "home" to Indiana.
