Is there anyone in Shelbyville who could volunteer to take a picture of
Martha Jane Thomas' headstone? Her grave went unmarked since 1912 and I
recently had a headstone made for this mother of 12, whose three sons
served in the military. Hopefully it hasn't snowed there yet. It is a
small flat stone.
Burial: Forest Hill Cemetery Shelbyville Shelby County Indiana, USA Plot:
Section 5, Lot 21. Find A Grave Memorial# 71685915
Also is there anyone who could search for probate records for her? She
died on September 16, 1912, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Charles
Hoover, 317 East Jackson Street at 1:50 a.m. of pneumonia/kidney trouble.
