I've "rescued" an old photograph of Cora CARTMEL WAGNER which was taken at
the Goodrich Studio in Shelbyville, Indiana. The photograph appears to have
been taken in the 1880's with Cora likely in her teens or 20's at the time.
Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information
regarding Cora and her family:
Cora May CARTMEL was b. Feb 1869 to parents Milton Palmer CARTMEL (b. 28 Nov
1822 in KY-d. 1883) and Elizabeth Jane DONNELL (b. Jan 1831 in Indiana-d.
1915). Cora was one of 6 children born to this couple including, Samuel
Argus; Mary Florence; Clara Alice; Adah; John Alva; and Cora May CARTMEL,

or Hanagon W. WAGONER (b. 1859) on 15 Sept 1889 in Shelby Co. IN, and
together they had two children, Hal Milton b. 1890 and Ebert Mearl WAGONER
b. 1899. Cora died in Manila IN on 13 Feb 1917 and is buried in the Vienna
Cemetery in Rush County, IN.
Son Ebert Mearl died in 1972.
Census records provide the following details:

I am looking for similar information. Most of your names listed look familiar to me. I do know that Henry married Mary Elizabeth Broxterman in Hanover. John Henry was my gggg-grandfather according to the work I have done to find this information, however, the Bogeman had two "n's" on the end of the name, as a family argument ended in removing an "n" from the name.
I have more names for their children. I have John, Lewis, Edward, William, Mathias, Amelia, Elizabeth, Cecilia, and Agnes. Their son Edward married Cuba Simms and had my gg-grandfather Leonard. Leonard married Faye Shadley and had my g-grandfather, Robert. I do not know the names of any other children.
I believe that Cecilia was a millinery worker in Shelbyville, IN and there is a fun article to read about her hat making. I know that Edward was the town butcher and Leonard was a blacksmith.
I hope that this helps. If you can offer any extra information that would be appreciated!
