We are researching the Kaster family of Shelby Co IN. It has been found
that Sarah Elizabeth Foreman, who married Hiram Kaster, after Hiram's death
in 1873, married Lewis Cook, b about 1848, who was son of Samuel Cook and
Rebecca Kaster. Hiram is buried at Marion Cemetery, but Sarah and Lewis
went to Macon Co MO and are buried at Ten Mile Baptist Cemetery, Macon Co
MO. Does anyone know who Rebecca Kaster's parents were?
Levi Kaster, son of Hiram and Sarah, also settled in Macon Co MO, bur same
cemetery. His sister, Matilda Kaster, married Willie Griffin and they are
also there.

Re: Parrish Cemetery
As I recall from walking that cemetery in the 1980's, I came upon a flat gravestone with the name Zebulon Read on it. Does anyone have any knowledge of this man or his family?

I will have to look back through my notes and records to see if I still have pictures. I'm not sure I have any of the Parish headstones, just the few Swinfords.

You are right about this email. It should have included this url:
http://www.shelbycountyindiana.org/obituaries/obit_evans.htm
And Sidney's death year: 1876.
Thanks for the heads-up. We are on vacation this week and this is
probably my last chance to get and send email.
