Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I'm looking for the husband and descendants of Margaret REED, b. abt 1846, daughter of Jacob REED and Eliza ANSPACH of Noble Township, Shelby, Indiana.
I have a photograph, which indicates that her husband's name was Charles, but no last name is given. The photo was probably made around 1900 and includes their adult daughter. It's a striking photograph and I would like to share it with her descendants.

Gloria,
Right now we have 215 members on the list. To cover the total expense, everyone would have to chip in 176.00 each. So...pretty much any amount would help. Don't feel bad...those of us who still live around here feel helpless at times, too.
Thanks,
Melinda

How many members do we have on the Shelby Co. mailing list? If we each chipped in how much would that be? At least it might help on the expense for the moldy books.
I live in Yuma, AZ., even if I lived in Shelby County, my Allergies would stop me from helping, I think all of us who live so far away feel so helpless about this overwhelming project of the moldy books.

Although my research in Shelby County is basically done, I would be more
than happy to fund a book and do what ever I can to help.
It seems to me that I read on the list which ones the county is "required"
to keep and house in good condition. Also in that article (state codes?) there
was something about the state helping with funds if the county had no money.
Anyone remember this?
Ma
