Regarding Nicholas James b about 1785, maybe Virginia, to Tennessee: I have
a Thomas James b probably in Virginia about 1745. He married Molly Downey
from Shenandoah and they were in Washington Co., Penna. at the start of the Rev.
War. Their son Thomas Jr. (& maybe some of his brothers), after spending a
few years in Kentucky, migrated to Jennings Co. (then Jefferson Co.) Indiana
about 1818. Thomas Jr. entered land at Lovett. If any of this means anything to
you, please contact me. I have lots of other James research.

My Grandfather Baxter Butler James marr Anna Belle Hughbanks in Shelby Co. 3
of my mothers sisters married Fisher brothers there and lived there most of
their lives.

This is regarding the "Keeling - Armstrong" message. Here's the links I
have:
Catherine Kisling & Daniel Cotterman had a daughter Etta b 1846 d 1936 in
Shelby Co. She married John Armstrong. They had a son Perry b 1868 who marr
Tillie Huber, and a son William Armstong, no info. The name Kisling was Kesling
most of the time. Henry Kesling was son of Teter Kesling & Elizabeth Fudge
from Rockingham Co., Va. to Warren Co., Ohio. Henry entered land in Preble Co.
Catherine died rather young. Daniel took the family to the Wayne Co. area
and then to Shelby Co. he remarried the Widow Stroup and they had a son. This
is a large family. If any of it means anything to you, please contact me.

Desc. of Henry Kisling's brother John Kesling (their wives were sisters)
