Janie. Pardon the interuption. In the 1910 census for Shelby county, Hendericks township, Dist 138, page 7B, the family was living "By road down the river". It was headed by Charles H Theobald, 5?, married 1 time for 29 years, a general farmer, born in Indiana as were his parents (this applies for the rest of the family), and included his wife Sophia L, 49, married 1 time for 29 years, mother of 13 of which 11 were still living, his daughter Della A, 24, his son Paul E, 16, his son Carl M, 14, his son George P, 12, his son Riley, 11, his son Cecil H, 9, and his daughter Irene, 4. All of the children were single and had no occupation listed. Some of the middle initials may be wrong because this enumerators handwriting is pretty bad. Hope this help. Don

A great online source for viewing historic maps is a website sponsored by the
University of Alabama (http://alabamamaps.ua.edu/). From the home page, click
on Historical Map Index, then click Individual States.
This looks potentially interesting: www.LostCousins.com
It allows free entry of ancestors in the 1880 US census for contact
with others entering the same ancestors.
