Good morning,
Still looking for a connection for William Warren. Here is the
information again....
Elmer Elsworth Warren b Sept 30, 1876 Ripley County, IN d Oct 13, 1956
Marion county, Indianapolis, IN Married Eunice May Bridgewater b Feb
22, 1882 d Feb 4, 1921 Marion County, Indianapolis, IN.
Elmer's parents:
William Warren b abt 1857 d in Chicago, Ill. marred Angelina Gordon and
she died before April 18, 1898 according to a military records that
Elmer
filled out.
William was suppose to have gone from Indiana up to Chicago ILL to live
with another son of his, possibly William (Will) Jr. who was a police
officer for the Chicago Police Department. Will had another brother in
Detroit that
also was a police officer for the Detroit Police Station, and his name
was
Owen.
Owen Warren, William (Will) Warren (maybe a JR or a II) were police
officers.. here is more information about their father William Warren
(maybe a SR or a I)
William Warren was taken to Chicago just before one of his
grandaughters, Louise Lois Warren moved to England to be with her
husband, Herbert Childs. Their first child, Doris, was born in the USA
in 1931, and their second child, Valorie, was born in England in 1946.
My aunt said she went to England before WWII broke out, and Doris was
believed to have been about 2 years
old...about 1933-1934.. So, William went to Chicago about a few years
before she went
to England.... about 1920-1933, and is beleived to have died before the
war broke out. So he would have died somewhere between 1920 and 1944.
My Aunt
said he was born about 1857.... but don't know where. Does this help
with a
connection anywhere?
Also, she says one of the Warrens was in the Rev. War ... something
about a 9th Reg. Does this click with anyone?
Thanks a million,
