Indiana page 319 Dwelling # 169, Family #170 Samuel Huston age 79 Farmer 700 from NH
Priscilla Huston age 85 from NH Andrew T. Chalmers age 16 Farmer from Ohio
(grandson)...Samuel married his first cousin Priscilla, daughter of Caleb at Rindge, NH
June 26 1794. They lived in Rindge and then moved to Sullivan NH before following family
to Cavendish VT, where they purchased land in the "Gore" Sept. 6, 1799. We know
from thier son Joseph's records that they eventually moved on to OH where Joseph
served as a drummer boy in the war of 1812 and finally settling in Ripley Co. IN where we
are sure they are buried but have not located the graves. Samuel had a daughter named
Rachel b.1803, she married Andrew Chalmers and after that we have no record of her or
Andrew, except the grandson mentioned above. Andrew TW Chalmers and Mary Elizabeth Cheny
were 1st cousins once removed. Thier common ancestors were Samuel and Priscilla. Thier
mothers were sisters.
