I believe that the W/0 means wife of Jacob. In the 1900 census, Jacob was
living in Jennings County,In and I thought that maybe when he died, they
buried him beside Elizabeth without a tombstone. He possibly could be buried
in Jennings County.
Thanks for your response.

The note at the cemetery web site says Elizabeth was buried "w/o
Jacob".

Possibly Jacob remarried and is buried with his second wife elsewhere in
the county. If you have the time you might want to pour through all the
Ripley County cemetery lists at

Thanks for your response. I am researching the Hoff/Huff families. I
found
an Elizabeth Hufe buried in the St. Maurice Catholic Church cemetery and
was
trying to find out if her husband Jacob was buried with her. Even
though it
appears as Hufe, I am pretty sure it is Huff, as the dates match up and
all.
This family moved around quite abit. I have found them in Decatur Co.,
Dearborn Co., Jennings Co and Ripley Co.,IN
Thanks
