Isaac Levi:
born 1751 in Germany
service: While a resident of Lexington, Kentucky he
enlisted in 1780. Pvt. in Captain Robert Patterson's
and Benj. Harrison's Company, a Troop on
Expedition against Indians on the Big Miami under
General George Rogers Clark. In the
Battle of Pickaway Town defeated the Indians. Stationed
at Post Vincennes. Served two years.
Proof: Pension Claim W.773
Died: September 21, 1850.
Buried: Near Osgood, Ripley County, Indiana.

Married: Last Wife: was Mary Tucker (widow of John
Tucker, a Rev.Soldier), married Nov. 14, 1841.
Descendants of former marriages settled around
Osgood, Indiana.
We would suggest that in view of his marriage in 1841 you look at the
1850 Ripley County Federal Census, where you will find him.and also any
other Levi who may be his older married sons.
