From the 1970 Sesqui-Centennial book for Napoleon: "The Napoleon Creamery" As
is stated elsewhere in the book, the land north of Wilson Street was an original
land-grant to Elias conwell. It was on July 28th, 1866 That Henry Kanning (owner of this
Conwell property then) deeds of Johnson Myers - 50 acres off the southeast end- for
$2500.00. On april 3rd the Myers Addition to the town of Napoleon is laid out, and
recorded april 15th, 1867. Lot No. 9 where the Creamery now stands at one time belonged
to Emma Laughlin - in 1898 sells to George E. Grow (unmarried) - august 15th, 1899 to
william Meyer, Jr. - 1901 To Ellie Andrews and Sadie Myers."
Wilson Street is what was called Mule Street.
