Sandra, I suspect that my ggg grandmother was married second to an Allen
Burton and they were living in Delaware Twp., Ripley Co. in 1840 and 1850.
No daughters were living with them but thought there may have been some
other Burton relatives in the area....no reason to think that other than the
fact that families frequently moved together. My ggg gm was married first
to a Wellman or Willman.
If your Emma and Elizabeth fit in this picture in any way I would be
interested. Thanks for your post.
