Could someone lookup a record of a tombstone for Ephraim Wilson b. July 18, 1756 and died
March 22, 1850.
Catherine w/o Ephraim died in their Indiana farm home. Buried in Wilson Cemetery on the
farm they owned, located about four miles southeast of Versailles, Ind. Catherine died
July 28, 1819 aged 58 yrs 8 mo. and 26 days.
The two inscriptions were on a twin monument with a weeping willow carved on each
section. One marker had the initials "C.W. and "E.W. on twin sections, it had
fallen over.
When it fell over it is said that the Ripley County Historical Society placed a marker in
that place. If this was the case, there would be a record. The Wilson Cemetery in
Johnson Twn. Cemetery book was researched by Violet Toph.
Are there pictures of this tombstone? I really appreciate any help on this matter
I am the third great granddaughter of Ephraim & Catherine
