Subject: Re: [INRANDOL] EDWARDS - THORNBURGH - BYRD Family Photograph
Mary Maude Edwards died in Dayton 9 June 1921 and was buried in the
Woodland
Cemetery. Her death certificate states that she died due to
complications
with the birth of twins. Future researchers in the Edwards line might
wish
to investigate what happened to the twins. I can not locate a death
certificate for them so perhaps they were adopted also.

I've "rescued" an old photograph of I. Wynona EDWARDS of Dayton, Ohio.
The
photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900's with Wynona's
age
noted as 13 months at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited
research I was able to locate some information regarding Wynona and her
family as follows:
Wynona EDWARDS THORNBURGH b. 22 Apr 1917 in Dayton, OH to parents Harry
Glenn EDWARDS (b. 1891 in OH) and Mary Maude EASTERDAY (b. 11 Mar 1888 in
IN). Wynona's Mother passed away when she was young (prior to 1930) and
she
was adopted by the THORNBURGH Family of Randolph Co. IN. Wynona married
John Francis BYRD (b. 5 Apr 1916 in Winchester, IN) and together they had
two children including a son Eldon Arthur BYRD b. 23 Jul 1939 in
Winchester,
IN.
Wynona died 30 Apr 2005 in Winchester, IN.
Census information is as follows:
1920 census of Dayton Township, OH:
Harry A. EDWARDS, age 29, born OH, a Retail Salesman
Mary EDWARDS, wife, age 31, born IN
Marion EDWARDS, son, age 5, born IN
Wynona EDWARDS, dau, age 2, born OH
Harry Lee EDWARDS, son, age 1, born OH
I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful old
photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family. If you are
a
member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact
me.
Thanks,
Shelley
