Kathy -
I could not find any of the following names:
Pingry/Pingrey
Spade
Garringer
Whitenack
I did find some of the others but when I went to the page numbers, they were
reprints of microfilm and I could not read them at all. Here's the names I
found:
Collins: David, Elisha, John, Richard
Miller: Jacob, James, John, Michael, Nathan, Peter, Samuel, Thomas, William
Baker: Norris, Nathan
Carson: David, John, Jonathan, William

So many intermarried later on to my relatives that I could probably
find a
dozen ancestors of my trees.
Pingry for one or Pingrey
Spade were ministers who never served but possible that a son or cousin
did
Garringer's served
Collins served ..perhaps out of Ohio if none on list
Whitenack and various spellings on that name Whitknaucht Whiteknecht
Miller who lived in Ohio.
Willson who originally lived in Ohio
Baker of Jackson twp of Ind
Carson
Hughes...but they may be out of Ohio...and this line I have proof by his
military records where Abe Lincoln signed his papers.
Just was hoping it was easy to see the list to check records. I know
Grandpa
George Rains and his brother served. But think he was born too late for
that
war..but he served from Indiana after that war..born in 1842 so he fought
in
Battle of the Wilderness and on the Mountain and was there when Lee
surrendered. so know its not 1812 war.
