I'm interested in the "Rhea" County. My late husband's Uncle Rhea
Hiatt (pronounced rhee) is only in one family story I know -- that
Rhea was a slow talker, who got his hand caught under a buggy wheel --
& he calmly said, "pull forward ... the wheel ... is ... on my hand."
The two Hiatt brothers were named DeLoe (b.1896) & Rhea (abt 12 yrs
older) -- & I haven't found any family history with either name.
Rhea & DeLoe names are puzzles for us.

I'm trying to find some connections to the Hall family in Rhea
County, TN. Dalt Hall married Mary E. Hale and had the following
children; Pauline, Bertha, Roy, Mable and Irene. Irene and Pauline
were twins and Irene died when she was about 6 yrs old.Pauline Hall
married Ray Williams and they eventually moved to Catoosa County, GA
where they had at least one adopted daughter that I know of, her
name was Margaret. They also had Joseph F., Katherine, Bobbie and
Joyce. Not sure if any of the others were adopted.I do not have any
prior family line info. I'm trying to do something nice for my
sister's who are the daughter's of Joseph F. Williams. He died when
they were just baby's and they don't have any family info to pass
on. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated!
