I would like to know if you would like to participate in adding photos
of
your Randolph County Ancestors to the society's website. Jennifer
Rice and
I have been e-talking about doing such a thing to the website.
Here is what I am thinking.
You have photograph of an ancestor from this county that you e-mail to
me,
along with data about them that you know, birth/death/burial. Maybe a
small
paragraph about the person if you know a story about them. All this
added
to the website for other researchers to look through. You could add
your
contact information to it as well. Now to help protect your info,
maybe put
the photo and data along with your contact info into a pdf format,
that way
it would be printable and save-able to your computer or their computer
and
the internet robots wouldn't be able to just scan and harvest your
details.
Jennifer has sent me some photos to start with. I think I will try
some
examples and put them up, let me know what you think. Is this
something
worth pursuing that you would enjoy adding to?

You have those pictures of Wright Hiatt and the others that you are
welcome to use for this. I will look for other pictures of Mom's that
have some Hiatt's and Hinshaws and other randolph county folks. I
think she has a picture of Melissa Gray Ireland Hiatt also.
As soon as I remember, I will get those pics of Wright and the miitary
info to you. I am having a birthday tomorrow and I believe CRS has set
in!

If I forget please send me a reminder.

Hi Anderea
Whenever I try to do a search on the Inrandol site, I get a page that
says FORBIDDEN and that I am not allowed to view that page, can you or
anyone help me with this problem. Is there a setting that I have to
adjust on my computer?
thank you Sandy
