Hi Andrea,
I have a couple of questions.
1) What does the acronym IYM stand for?
2) What does this mean: "Then in 2016-17 they will release their claim on the work
and then custodian can
send out free of charge sets of info to you all in digital form."
Who is "they" who will release their claim? Ancestry?
I don't quite understand "custodian can send out free of charge sets of
info to you all in digital form." Since Ancestry does nothing free of charge, they
must be the party who will release the claim...?
Thanks,
--Jane

Subject: [INRANDOL] Wonderful News!
Hi all, I am away at Indiana Yearly Meeting. I just learned from Tom Hamm,
the custodian of IYM Records, that they have worked out a deal with Ancestry
to scan and digitize the IYM collection at Earlham (and all other
collections of Friends/Quakers items). Tom thinks that all the records
should be done an on-line in two years. I am a transcriber for Ancestry, so
hopefully I will see them come through the system. I am so excited! Then
in 2016-17 they will release their claim on the work and then custodian can
send out free of charge sets of info to you all in digital form. YEAH! Have
a good one! Andrea
