OK here is my dilemma:
Temple & Prescilla (Crossley) Smith said
to have had a son Temple Jr. Ok that
being said here is the question.
#1 source tells that this Temple died in
1860 Diptheria
#2 source tells that he survived this epidemic and married a lady named
Martha Ann Scott, who by the way married my Temple Smith.
#3 I have reason to believe my Temple
Smith son of John A & Hannah (Gibson)
Smith.
Why I say this is Temples' maternal
grandfather Temple Gibson whom I assume my Temple named after.
Secondly, Temple had a baby sister name of Charlotte Jane.
When my Temple & Martha married they
had a daughter named Charlotte Jane (my
dads' maternal grandmother) who I am
sure was named after her Aunt Charlotte
Jane. Stands to reason, right?
Can anyone clear up this mystery of this
Temple Smith.
#4 Temple Smith (assuming he is mine)
was in 1860 Owen Co IN census living with a family named Elias Scott. I
am
assuming that his parents died or he moved on born 1840-41 would have
been
the right age to have been getting married.
Who did this other Temple Smith marry
assuming he survived the diptheria outbreak?
Was said my Temple m/1 Catherine Deem/Deen in 1862. Then apparently
she
may have died early on and he m/2 Martha Scott in 1865 Taylor Co IA.
Then
we find Temple & Martha in 1866 Boone Co IA where my Charlotte Jane
Smith
was born.
