Steve,
Just one more thought. The House of Flavors was on Pearl Street in Union
City, Indiana.

Subject: [INRANDOL] Thatcher Soule
Hello from San Francisco,
I was unable to figure how to reply to the replies to my first posting....
but maybe I am not supposed to! At any rate I just wanted to thank all of
you for being so responsive helpful and warm. At a minmum I am needing to
rethink Thatcher's story as it is clear from his obit that he lived in
Indiana from 1943 onwards and he had been married to Elizabeth Maxine Green
for 48 years! So there is no way he could have operated the "T. Soule Jr."
art supply store here in the Bay Area from the 1950's to 1970. Who that
Soule was remains to be seen.
Even if the flow of info on Thatcher - or Thatch as he was called there in
UC - stops, I would be happy, with the only potential capper being a photo
if one emerges.
But for now, I just wanted to say thanks.
Steve Heimerle
