Sarah Jane Branham married John Wesley Staats - both are buried in the Union
City Cemetery, Union City, Randolph County, Indiana, as follows -
John Wesley Staats born 1836, died July 1912 buried Section A, East Creek,
Lot 28
Sarah J. Staats born 1835, died 1911, buried same section and Lot
Census records show Simeon Branham married Jemina but cemetery records show
her first name as Jemima which was a common name in those days. They are
both buried in Union City Cemetery, Section A, East Creek, Lot 13. With
them is Edward. William & Valeria, Nellie G. and Frank L. are buried in
Section I, East Creet Lot 507 and Albert L. Branham and Effie K. are buried
in Section I, East Creek, Lot 506
Hope this helps - Karen
