Well this is interesting. I'll have to dig around and see what I can find with these
guys.
The problem I'm having is tracing a woman's family, but I have next to nothing to
go on. She was married in Randolph Co. in 1855 (no witnesses listed) but does not appear
in Randolph Co in the 1850 census so I had to make a list of Braden possibles for her
family from those living in the whole of Indiana and Ohio (because I've gotten
conflicting evidence as to her birthplace occuring in each of those locations in 1839).
There is nothing that really points to her family being from Randolph Co., except for the
thought that USUALLY couples were married in the town of the bride's family. But from
what I've come up with, it sounds more likely that if anyone was there, it was the
groom's extended family. So, I'm just going down the list of possibles and trying
to track them all through the census years to see if I can narrow it down a bit. I'll
add these to the list, at least they have a Randolph Co. connection, so who knows.
Thanks for the heads up!
Nikki
