www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk you can download images (for a fee) of the fully-indexed
Scottish statutory records of births, deaths and marriages from 1855 to 2006, census
records from 1841 to 1901 and indexes of the church baptisms, deahs and burial, and
marriages that took place fro 1538 to 1854.

survive for a parish, county or burgh from which your ancestors came.

list.

www.scotlandsplaces.gov.uk allows kusers to search for records concerning a location
across various different national databases. Including Farm Horse Tax 1797-1798.

www.abdn.ac.uk/emigration contains records of over 21,000 passengers who embarked at
Glasgow and Greenock for non-European ports during the first four months of 1923.
