Hi,
I do volunteer indexing for what will wind up on FamilySearch. There are
thousands of people indexing records (birth, death, marriage, census, you
name it!) from the US and around the world. So - if you do not find your
ancestors the first time you search please return to FamilySearch at least
one a month to see if something new has been added to help you find your
ancestors.
Also check out "Random Acts of Genealogy Kindness"
www.raogk.org.
Volunteers from various counties in every state will do a look up for you.
This not for large amounts of research but just for small items like an
obit, land record, etc. Check out the site for more details.

I would encourage all of you to look into
FamilySearch.org, they have
done
an update to their website and have added lots of new documents some of
which you can see. You have to register and then login but folks, I just
found my ggg grandparents wedding issuance and where it was in England.
Another break through for me, and I'm just giddy with it! I wish my
parents
were alive now so that I could call them and tell them! They had worked
so
hard on this line and were only able to go back to my g grandparents. The
internet genealogy is just amazing isn't it! Yeap! Giddy!!!!
Andrea
