There is an antique shop in Ridgeville, IN, in northern Randolph County,
that used to have a book for sale that was a reprint by Samuel Ginger.
The title is "Reminiscences of Ridgeville and the Mississinewa Country".
Not sure how much of the book was supposed to have been written by Ginger,
but inside cover has a photo of him with small account of him. It says
he was a gunmaker by occupation. He enlisted in Civil War in Company H,
84th Regiment, Volunteer infantry. He is listed as dying at his home in
Ridgeville, In., in 1919. Interesting book, it may also be purchased through
the Randolph County Historical / Genealogical Society, or was able to be
at one time. The antique store in Ridgeville, where I bought my copy is
called Medler's. It is located on highway 28 where it turns to go south.
Hope this helps some.
