According to our newspaper, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Western Reserve
Historical Society, Cleveland, OH is now raising money to fund their
$200,000 purchase of the complete 1930 census.
Apparently, it's their usual policy to buy the entire census.
Wow.
I live here, have been researching my family for two years, and didn't know
they had all of them.
Thought I'd have to go to Pittsburgh for my HELFRICH and KONOPINSKI
family -- and I've already been to Randolph County for our HIATT family
(still need EAGY and REDMAN). And here is a resource half an hour from my
home.
Now, I just have to learn how to USE the census.
Challenges. Genealogy is full of challenges and growth experiences!
Warm regards,
Karen King Hiatt

I'm not sure when it will be available at Family History
Libraries
but certainly it should be available soon after it's release. The
National Archives is presently taking advance orders for "whole" state
and "whole" country which will ship on 4/1/2002. I imagine that the
LDS Libraries would be an organization that be placing multiple whole
state and country orders.
