Thank you, Thank you! Thanks for sharing all of this great stuff! Looking forward to
checking names here in a little bit. Augh, so much typing and so little time. Blessings,
Andrea

Once again we owe Billy Baker a HUGE Thank You! Last night I uploaded
the 3rd and 4th Randolph County draft registration lists that he has
transcribed for us from the Union City Times Gazette. That action added
4,419 names of male RCI residents including their towns or town+rural
routes of residence to the draft webpages!
The 1st & 2nd draft registration was for men in the county aged 21-36;
the 3rd was for men 20-44, and the 4th registration was for men 45-64.
The new pages can be accessed at:
http://randolph.dcoweb.org/military/index.html
If you have not read the introduction page (No. 1 on the above site),
please do so before going to alphabetized lists. Also, please read the
few lines above the lists on the individual pages.
Also, these pages are searchable from the DCOWeb home page (
www.dcoweb.org ). The search engine is a "simple" search engine and
doesn't search phrases - only one word searches. The results are
brought up in another window.
Billy and I hope that this will be an asset to you in trying to locate
your "later day" families - the ones who aren't yet found on the census,
etc.
Have fun!
