"Suda CHEESMAN m John L. BOTKIN they had 2 sons; Melvin and Harold. John was Road
Superintendent at one time. Suda and John buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Maxville,

(Maxville is west of Winchester, Randolph Co., In on highway 32; it may be off on another
road-----that is the general location of Maxville, if that helps)
"Emmaline BOTKIN HUNT d/O Joseph and Harriet Ann (Cropper) Botkin. b. Aug 31, 1851
near Huntsville. She m. Addison (1856-1933) son of Jonothan and Laura (Auker) Hunt. In
1903 they moved to Winchester.
Beginning with "Aunt Emmalines" 100th birthday, her anniversary was a community
event. When she was 101, four members of the old Winchester Fife and Drum Corp. seranaded
her. the corps had a special interest in "Aunt Emmaline" for one of the members
of the corp had been her husband, Addison, who was well known for his trilling fife notes.
When she was 103 Pres. Eisenhour sent her a note of good wishes. She was a member of the
Main Street Christian Church.
She was a very spright, gay person with a sharp memory until after she was 104, when her
health began to fail. She d. April 30, 1958 four months before her 107th birthday. She
had a daughter Sadie DuBois and a son Basil of Dayton."
