Well, finally we have gotten back there to the Dunkirk Cemetery. I am so
glad we had a guide, as the cemetery was in the woods that I had ventured
into in January. I was so close and couldn't see it. I mostly took video,
but a few pictures and Jennifer Capps took other pictures and will be send
them to me when she gets home. It is amazing the condition it is in for
being neglected for so long but at the same time it is in very sad shape.
Many are laying flat on the ground being grown over, some you don't see them
until you walk on them. Many are up against trees. There is a fence, that
is falling down, and there is an old open gate to it as well. It is pretty
back there lots of wildflowers and some planted by loved ones of long ago.
At least 5 new wild flowers in there that I had not seen before. I will put
my video together and post it to a web-site that I can create to share such
a thing. I will let you know the address once done. Andrea
