Am not researching this line, just trying to be helpful. Could this be your man? In the
1880 census for Indiana, Randolph county, Franklin township, town of Ridgeville, ED 165,
page 47A there was a family headed by John G Wellinger, 4l, butcher, along with his wife
Loesa (sic) 41, housekeeping, both born in Germany as were their parents. All of the
following children were born in Indiana, they were his son George C, 12, his son Charles
E, 10, his daughter Loesa P, 8, his son Walter J, 6, his daughter Minnie C, 4, his son
John W, 2, and his son Frank L, 3/12. Also included was Mary J Miller, 19, servant, born
in Ohio. I also found an additional listing which indicated that John Wellinger and
Louise Zigler had a son Albert Clifford in Ridgeville about 1882. Hope this helps. Good
luck. Don
