Renee...
I just rejoined the Rand. Co. list and caught Tim's reply to you so I
checked out the archive at Rootsweb to see what you were inquiring about.

Can anyone give me a contact name and number for the Dunkirk

Randolph County. Also directions to the cemetery would be great.
Thanks,

There is no name and contact number for Dunkirk cemetery. It's been
abandoned for probably 100 years now and it's in terrible shape, as well as
difficult to find. My Ruble's where buried there. The families lived in
the same areas in OH and IN. The cemeteries in the middle of a cornfield,
in the middle of a section of land, in a stand of trees on private property
and it's a short hike to get there. These graves are listed in the cem:
GREEN, Jesse d. 9mo. 14d 1848 59y8m14d
Mary J. d. 6mo 2d 1850 28y2m20d
Ruth d. March 10, 1880 73y11m25d (Weep not for me my
friend, In beauty I shall rise. To join the ransomed
hosts above, And live in Paradise.)
Sarah, wife of Jesse, d. Sept. 27, 1873 101y6m10d (Sarah
Gillum, b. 11 Mar 1779)
Also there is...
RAYNARD, William d. 19d 10mo 1855 18y7m23d
REYNARD, Rachel, wife of Solomon, d Apr 20, 1885 82y6m5d (formerly Rachel
GREEN m. Solomon in Clinton Co., OH)
Solomon d. 1st mo. 5d 1861
I've been there before and have pictures of Sarah, Rachel, Solomon, Mary
J., and Jesse's stones, but the pictures really stink. Let me know if you
need specific directions and I'd be happy to oblige. Sherri
