Subject: [INRANDOL] More Surnames at Hoover Cemetery
New names uncovered by the Mark Davis/Helen Wickersham crew.
Householder
Wilson (which for some reason we had in our heads as Smith, heatstroke
may
be the cause!)
Brown, but to me it looks like Crown.
Barklow, which is Billy Bakers' Great great grandmother.

Shreeve and a Shreev
Courtney
?Jar???, turns out that is Rebecca Jane Price, dau of John and Sarah
Price
dec Aug 29, rest is in mud.
Some other surnames at Hoover Cemetery are Woodbury, Wasson, Dixon,
Dickson,
Downing, Harris, Gullett, Murphy, Sweet, ?Jar???, Price, Wickersham,
Williamson, Farabee, Kemp, Powell, Powel, Pritchard, Bickel, Teeter,

Williams, Adams, Combs, Harter, Asterman, Anderson, Shockney, Dewalt,

there are a few stones that I can't even guess the name on there.

pioneers).
*Sarah, wife of John Dixon, March 31, 1842, 51 years (I do have a
picture of
this stone, broken and no longer in it place, this is the mother of
Lucinda
Dixon Harlan married to Joshua Harlan, they should also be buried there,
no
markers found by me).
*John Dixon, March 12, 1865, 75 years (There are several John Dixons
buried
here but I believe I have his broken stone as well, this should be the
hubby
of Sarah.)
John Anderson, March 4, 1850, 65 years.
*David Wasson, Dec 9, 1850, 75 years.
*Barbara Hoover, wife of Peter Hoover, April 3, 1852, 76 years (Got her,

*Nancy, wife of Benjamin Dixon, December 18, 1868, 67 years.
*Ann, wife of Ezekiel Pritchard, March 18, 1870, 62 years. (he is on the

We have found some of the spouses of these and other family members
(like
the Mary Blackman, and Law)even if we have not found the stone from this
pioneer list. But as you can see a few more of them have been found.
