Gail, the Union City Library does have the Union City Times Gazette on
microfilm, but it is sideways and the copies are not all that great from the
machine. It costs 25 cents a page. Now the great thing is that the
newspaper (most years) are abstract so there is a lot less stress looking
for some things. The library has a pretty good collection of lots of things
from here and surrounding counties as well. I haven't gotten through
everything yet that is there so I can not tell you for sure what all is
there. The library is not open on Wednesdays. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
they are open 10 am to 8 pm and Fri 10am to 5 pm and Saturday 10 am to 3 pm.
The Depot is a museum/art show place, there is now a new museum open this
past spring from what I understand but I haven't been there yet. It is just
north of the RR tracks on the same side of the road that McDonald's is
(Columbus St) I was also told the fire department has also opened a museum
as well near the firehouse. I don't know the hours to any of the museums
though. Sorry. Andrea
