Thank you for your additional information on Frank (or
James) Harshman.
I went to the RootsWeb World Connect project and found
the same information on Keziah Ann Hickman. I believe
the Old Prospect Cemetery is in Randolph County near
Saratoga. The cemetery link on the Randolph County
page is excellent and describes Old Prospect in
detail. It indicates that the cemetery is in poor
condition and there are not many stones. There are
two Harshmans listed: Reuben Harshman, spring of
1881, age not given and Abraham, September 15, 1868,
68 years. If Keziah and/or Frank (or James) are
buried here they most likely do not have stones.
I am somewhat skeptical of the information on World
Connect for Keziah as the cemetery information appears
to be wrong. I think Middleton is in Delaware County.
I also am not certain that Keziah's parents were
Joseph and Mary Hickman as shown. In viewing censuses
for 1840 (which are not detailed) I did not find
Joseph to have a daughter in the correct age category
for Keziah. I found John Hickman in 1840 census who
appeared to be the right age with daughters who fit
with Keziah's age. As these early censuses are not
detailed, this would be just a guess.
Again, thanks the additional information.

Subject: James v. Frank Harshman and Keziah Hickman
I think you may be right about Frank and James being
the same. We received
the information that Frank married Keziah from the
Harshman book. Her child
is listed on one census as Clement but later on he
went by Frank Clem
Harshman. Keziah's husband Frank had a grandfather
named James so perhaps
he was Frank James or James Frank Harshman. Here
are some other facts we
found out from a Preble Co. forum regarding the
father of Frank -Reuben
Harshman.

In Reply to: James and Rueben Harshman 1800s by Tim
McDaniel of 1246
James was second son of Peter Harshman and grandson
of Ulrich
There is no death record for him in Preble county.
His wife
Rhoda Burke Harsman died Dec. 5, 1867 age 78 and is
buried at
Bonebrake cemetery. Rueben, Joseph and Abraham
Harshman bought
good at estate sale 1825. Rueben moved to Randolph
co Indiana in 1834.
*********************************
This Rueben was on the 1840 Randolph Co. census as
Rubin. Later his wife
Margaret is on the 1880 census, presumably a widow.
I received the following from others as well
* Name: Keziah Ann Hickman
* Sex: F
* Birth: 1828 in Chowan County, North Carolina
* Death: 17 JUN 1899 in Union City, Indiana
* Burial: Old Prospect Cemetery, Middletown,
