Joan- My Kepler is Jacob who was born 1800 in Pennsylvania and died 1870 in Howard County,
so I don't think there is connection because he had a son John but he was born in 1834
in Ohio or Indiana.

I am interested in a John Kepler (Keppler), born 1838 in Germany, married
Amy Bowers circa 1865, died 1892. They were in Warren Co., IA for a time
before returning to Randolph Co. between 1880 and 1888. They had four
children: Sarah; Margery; Margaret; and Lochia. Any connection?
