I have a question that someone might be able to help me with. One of my gg
grandfathers was in the civil war, he was enlisted in OH, and lived in OH at
the time. Sometime after the 1870 census, he and family moved to Huntington
Co, IN. He died before the 1880 census in Huntington Co. I have a death
date from a one line obit in the newspaper, but no idea of where he is
buried at, or when his wife died. Still looking! I know that there are no
census records for 1890 for Indiana, and the 1890 census for veterans and
their widows was also lost to us for Indiana. So here is my question. If
she applied for his war pension, would I find records in the Indiana State
Library or do I need to seek info in Ohio? Andrea Long
